Mission & Values

Our Mission Statement

Well of Hope Christian Fellowship – A community of believers growing together in relationship with God and devoted to pleasing Him in worship, service and brotherly love.

Our Values

1. The Importance of Living a Surrendered Life
We are committed to the authority of the Word of God and to complete dependence on God’s Spirit, rather than our own abilities. II Timothy 3:16-17, John 15:5, Philippians 4:13

2. The Maintaining of Unity
We are committed to maintaining unity in order to fulfill Jesus’ prayer in John 17:23

3. The Priority of Servanthood
The true measure of greatness in the Kingdom of God is the possession of a servant’s heart. We believe in following the example of Jesus in sacrificially serving one another in love. Matthew 20:26-28, Philippians 2:5, 7

4. The Worth and Dignity of Each Person
Every person God created is valuable, unique and has something to contribute. We are committed to valuing each person and seeking to unlock the gifts God has given them. John 3:16, II Corinthians 5:16-17, Romans 2:11

5. The Practice of Faith
Faith is not a matter of intellectual assent; the practice of faith is about actions of trusting God. We encourage our members to cultivate an active trust in God, moving forward in obedience to His commands! Hebrews 11:1, 6, James 2:18

6. The Power of Integrity
Our actions are in full view of the Lord. It is vital that we be consistent in honoring God both publicly and privately. We have a single standard for our conduct: the righteousness of Christ. Philippians 1:27, Proverbs 10:9, 1 Peter 2:12

7. The Devotion to Prayer
We view prayer not just as preparation for the work of the Kingdom, but as the vital work itself. We believe in glorifying God by seeking Him and depending on Him in all things and for all things through prayer and intercession. Colossians 4:2, Philippians 4:6, I Thessalonians 5:16-18, I Timothy 2:1-4

8. The Necessity of Grace
It’s all by the grace of God that we can turn from sin, love Jesus and live lives that honor Him! We celebrate this transforming grace and proclaim our dependence on God Himself to supply what He commands! Ephesians 6:24, Titus 3:11-12,
Philippians 2:13
